An internationally recognized Public Health expert, Dr. Minson has been engaged in the global response to the Covid-19 pandemic. A former local, state and Federal health official, he has been recognized by special commendation from the Secretariat, USDHHS and served as liaison to the United States Agency for International Development and Deputy Coordinator for the U.S. health and medical humanitarian response to the Haiti Earthquake Response. He is an appointee to the National Fire Protection Association, National Academy of Medicine special forum, and as a medical director for FEMA/USAR he deployed to a number of crises including: the World Trade Center, the Columbia Space Shuttle Recovery, and several hurricanes, including Katrina and Rita, the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill Crisis, Super Storm Sandy, the West, Texas Explosion, and much more.
