Marina Fontaine is a Russian by birth, an American by choice and a writer of dystopias with hope. She uses her experience of living in a totalitarian society to create realistic dystopian worlds, while demonstrating how love, honor, and yearning for freedom endures in the darkest of times and places. Her works include Chasing Freedom (a Dragon Awards finalist) and The Product, a dystopian novella. Marina lives in New Jersey with her husband, children, guinea pigs and a bearded dragon, working as an accountant by day and a writer by night.
