Greetings dear reader. I grew up in a small seaside town in Norfolk; went to university in London, lived there for three decades and now live in St Albans. I write psychological thrillers because I'm fascinated by what drives people to do extreme things. My most recent novel is THE EXES, published by Bloodhound Books. Holly inherits a rundown house and invites her exes to move in and help her renovate it! THE LIE OF YOU and AFTER THE STORM explore obsessive behaviour and were both USA Today bestsellers. THE LIE OF YOU is now a film starring Tuppence Middleton screening on Prime Video in the UK and Lifetime Movies in the USA. My third novel, WOMAN OF THE HOUR, reveals the toxic culture at a TV station told through the eyes of producer Liz Lyon. It's a stand-alone read. There's a follow-up novel, BEHIND HER BACK, which features the same TV station setting, characters and Liz Lyon as the heroine. Before writing full-time I worked as a TV producer, was Deputy Director of the British Film Institute and then Chief Executive of BAFTA, followed by seven years at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
