Kelly is a wife, mom, "Lolli," and entrepreneur. She was fortunate to spend time with people all over the country while moving from state to state during her husband Ricky's lengthy NFL career. During this time of growth through multiple changes, she worked tirelessly to build two top leadership positions in her wellness business, gaining life experience from many angles. However, nothing has shaped Kelly more than the healing power of Jesus. Kelly and Ricky decided to have an abortion at the end of their senior year in college. After living with this secret in silence and shame for many years, Kelly found healing and peace through a relationship with the Lord. For almost three decades, Kelly has studied and applied biblical truth to her life, and helped others discover that there is a Healer who can restore even the deepest wounds, including the wound of abortion. She now writes and speaks boldly about the freedom, joy, and abundant life available through the Healer, Jesus Christ. She is passionate about wellness in all aspects of life. She demonstrates this daily through her work with the non-profit she and Ricky co-founded, The Ricky Proehl P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation, that serves children in need--meeting spiritual, emotional, and financial needs with compassion and purpose. Kelly and Ricky split their time between North Carolina and South Carolina, where she cherishes beach life, bike rides, sailing, writing, and time with family and friends. Kelly loves speaking at events to share the healing and mighty love of Jesus is something that always energizes her. Her memoir is a testament to God's relentless grace and a gift to anyone longing to live in soul-freedom from abortion.
