I am a former factory worker, housekeeping supervisor, daycare worker, shipping manager and now author. I was born and raised in a small rural northwest Ohio town called Liberty Center and still live there today. I am a wife, a mother, mother-in-law, and a grandmother,
I have been a Christian since receiving Christ as my savior at eight years of age and recommitted my life to Christ at eighteen. I married my mechanic(Bill) when I was 20 and he was 22 and my cars have never been the same. The fact that I was a Christian and he was not, was a problem when we wanted to get married and I allowed it to continue to give me issues for years. I searched for books to help me with my Christian non-Christian marriage but was unable to find any that were helpful so turned to the only other resource I trusted- the Bible. I did my own studies, looked up everything I could about marriage and my particular situation, and yes-there is plenty of information in there. Enough to write a book!
After listening to a woman give a testimony in church about her husband getting saved after 30 years of marriage (the wife had been a Christian for 24 of those years) I came home and began writing my book for all the other thousands of women out there who are in the same situation. God has blessed us in wonderful ways! We (Bill and I)hope that the struggles that we've been through making our Christian marriage work, will help just one other couple to have a better marriage as well.
