Cape Elizabeth, Maine native Jim Tselikis is co-author of the book Cousins Maine Lobster: How One Food Truck Became a Multi-Million Dollar Business, an entrepreneurial tell-all detailing how he and his business partner (and cousin), Sabin Lomac, took Cousins Maine Lobster from a single food truck to an international brand. Cousins Maine Lobster and its lovable duo rose to national acclaim after an endearing 2012 Shark Tank appearance that culminated in a partnership with Shark Barbara Corcoran. The Cousins began franchising in 2014, bringing authentic Maine Lobster eats to unique neighborhoods across the U.S. In 2017, Cousins Maine Lobster expanded internationally into Taiwan. The Cousins aren’t slowing down anytime soon, with plans to keep spreading a taste Maine into 2018 and beyond. Jim has further connected his customers to Maine by spearheading Cousins Maine Lobster’s online “Shore to Door” shop, an ecommerce store where hungry lobster lovers across the country can get live Maine lobster and Cousins Maine Lobster’s famous At Home Lobster Roll Kits delivered directly to their doorstep from Maine. Since 2012, Cousins Maine Lobster has been continually featured in some of the most influential entrepreneurial and culinary programming, including Shark Tank, The Food Network, The Chew, Good Morning America, CNBC, and the Cooking Network. Cousins Maine Lobster regularly appears in leading business publications Inc., Entrepreneur, Saveur, Food & Wine, Zagat, Eater and more.
