Jason Richards is the author of the Drew Patrick private investigator crime thriller series. He has enjoyed reading detective stories since he was a child. As a young adult, he discovered his biggest inspirations in the tough and witty hard-boild Boston PI Spenser, by Robert B. Parker, and Elvis Cole by Robert Crais. Jason loves creating the characters and world of the Drew Patrick novels and hopes his readers enjoy being part of the journey. Prior to becoming an author, Jason worked for a large corporation, a leading university, and in the non-profit sector. He loves being an independent author for the freedom it offers in both the creative and business aspects of publishing. When he is not writing, Jason loves to spend time with his wife, their teenage son, and other family and friends. He enjoys reading (naturally), sports, movies, music, and travel. The family dog (a Beagle-mix who is the inspiration for Dash in the books) is a constant companion as he works in his study, and gives Jason excuses to get out of his chair and take walks.
