James Evans is a project and programme management professional, author, and PMO leader who believes that good delivery is less about rigid processes and more about people, trust, and clarity. He holds a Master’s degree in Project Management, where his research explored psychological safety in project and programme environments. That work was recognised as a finalist for an national award and went on to inform further study and real-world application. James is the founder of Evactus Ltd, a platform focused on helping people make sense of complex change and deliver work that genuinely adds value. Alongside writing, he develops practical tools and resources, speaks at events, and supports others in building the confidence to manage projects effectively, even without formal training. At the heart of his work is a commitment to making project management part of everyday life, translating complex ideas into practical skills and creating environments where people feel safe to contribute, challenge, and do their best work.
