Genevieve Steinhardt is an educational author, publisher, and founder of Novel Tea Publishing and the Illinois Learning Center. She creates engaging books and educational resources designed to help children, teens, and adults build confidence, strengthen practical skills, and make meaningful connections between learning and everyday life.
Before becoming a full-time independent author, Genevieve served as a Director of Education, worked in both general and special education, volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and earned certification in mediation. She is also a Certified Professional Life Coach and Art Therapy Life Coach and holds a Certificate in Instructional Design using the ADDIE Model. Together, these experiences shape her approach to creating thoughtfully structured, practical, and accessible educational materials.
Genevieve is the author of the *Learn to Read Activity Workbook* series, including *Knowledge in the Kitchen*. Her work has been featured in *Illinois Times Capital City Parent* magazine, and she proudly serves as an Illinois Reads Ambassador for the Illinois Reading Council.
