With a background in psychology and a diverse career history, including being a former Director of Education, Genevieve immersed herself in the public school system, including special education, and participated in IEP meetings for children of all ages. Later, Genevieve became a court-appointed child advocate for children in foster care and a certified mediator. This type of work only added to Genevieve’s catalog of knowledge. As an avid advocate for mental health awareness, Genevieve strives to offer versatility and inclusion. Being in a classroom setting with students helped shape her into the empathetic author today. Since stepping away from the traditional school system, Genevieve turned to homeschooling her children. This is when she saw a need and wanted to help provide other families with resources that worked.
