Davies Mpinga began his pastoral ministry in Zambia as a pastor with Grace Ministries Mission International after graduating from Victory College in Kitwe. He then studied Leadership and Pastoral Ministry at Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Later, he attended Nelson University in Waxahachie, Texas, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Bible, Church, and Pastoral Ministries.
Davies also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Practical Ministry from the Harrison Graduate School at Nelson University. He later earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta. He then served as a pastor at Mountainview Evangelical Missionary Church near Didsbury, Alberta, for nearly five years, and then at Abbeydale Christian Fellowship in Calgary for over two years. He is an ordained minister with 23 years of ministry experience in Zambia, the United States, and Canada.
Residing with his family in Crossfield, and now, Airdrie, Alberta, just twenty minutes north of Calgary, Dr. Mpinga obtained his Doctor of Ministry degree (DMin) in Contextual Leadership from Providence Theological Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba, under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Lortie. His dissertation explored the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on churches in Western Canada and Ontario. This work culminated in his book, “From Flourishing to Languishing: Considering the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Churches and Clergy,” which is now available on Amazon.
