Deanna Kent & Neil Hooson are an award-winning Canadian author-illustrator team living in Kelowna, British Columbia, known for creating bold, funny, and visually dynamic stories for young readers. They are the creators of three beloved book series for kids— Snazzy Cat Capers, Glam Prix Racers, and Marshmallow Martians — which blend humour, mystery, friendship, and inventive world-building. Their newest project, Weevil Geniuses, appears as a comic ever month in Chickadee magazine and is expanding into a three-book graphic novel series with OwlKids Books. They are also developing a cozy, kawaii-inspired Bao Wows graphic novel series for Scholastic.
