Mr. Charles Patton is an accomplished writer of non-fiction, fiction, plays for film and radio and a newspaper column. His first book, Colt Terry, Green Beret, published by Texas A&M University Press in 2005, introduced Charles to his first extreme leader. His appreciation of Colt Terry’s leadership as one of the original Green Berets, coincided his parallel interest in reading about the intrepid Arctic, Antarctic and African explorers of the 1800’s as well as other extreme leaders of history. He has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Illinois and a Master in Business Administration from University of Chicago. He is a public speaker and consultant in many fields concerning leadership, marketing and technology across diverse industries including hospitality, real estate, higher education and internet marketing and sales.
