Chris Hambleton is an American novelist and the author of over two dozen books spanning political thrillers, biblical and speculative fiction, and Bible prophecy nonfiction — including the Days of Noah series, the HaZikaron series, and The Time of Jacob's Trouble trilogy.

He wrote his first manuscript in 1992 in Cape Canaveral, Florida, before heading off to college to study computer engineering — a setting that would later resurface as the backdrop for his Encounter series. His debut novel, "The Time of Jacob's Trouble," was published in 2008 and later expanded into a well-loved trilogy. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Chris has toured Israel several times and volunteered on an IDF medical base — firsthand experience that continues to shape the geopolitical and biblical thrillers he writes today, from the HaZikaron series to "Ezekiel Watch." Aside from writing, his interests include studying archaeology and ancient history, hiking, relaxing on the beach, and reading great literature. He also enjoys traveling extensively, listening to classical music, following history and politics, and — appropriately for an author — devouring audiobooks.
