Dr. Brian P. Ramos, affectionately known as Bebe Chez by his closest students and NFT DEGEN army, earned his bachelor's degree in clinical microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez in 1999 before obtaining his Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Yale School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Ramos is the author of numerous publications in the area of neuroscience and molecular psychiatry with a special interest in stress-related disorders, cognitive enhancement, aging, and behavior. He is a Dharma Mittra Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga certified instructor and certified to teach yoga for children and adolescents with or without neurodevelopmental issues. His approach to yoga is integral and conducive to higher states of consciousness; deep, conscious relaxation; radiant health and vitality; and powerful genetic transformations. Currently, he is the creator of the Life of a DEGEN Journey and the founder of DigiMonkz NFT, the home of the next generation of Web3 Entrepreneurs and Digital Gurus where holders can begin their Pilgrimage alongside a master from the comfort of your own home and reprogram their life from the inside out. He is also the Lead Advisor and Guru for YogaPetz NFT. He is very active on social media, especially Twitter and DIscord, where he teaches core principles of Holistic Wellness and Self-Mastery. From 1995-1999, Dr. Ramos worked at a nonprofit Spiritist center called Instituto de Cultura Espirita Renacimiento, led by Dr. Flavio Acaron, where he helped to heal many a person suffering from a variety of physical, mental, and spiritual conditions. During his work there, he saw the potential inherent in humans, the power of latent psychic abilities, the vast dimensions of consciousness untapped or unrealized by most, and the need to improve mental health and chronic care. During his many studies, Dr. Ramos aimed to learn about the nervous system and how we are connected, as disembodied spirits, to the body through our nervous and endocrine networks and genetic programs. During graduate school and even after obtaining a Ph.D., Dr. Ramos immersed himself for years in the study of the effects of stress on the nervous and endocrine systems. In addition, he studied for many years how stress and other mental states influence our health as our body ages and how it changes our gene expression for better or worse. In his early twenties, Dr. Ramos rediscovered Yoga and Ayurveda, which provided him with many of the adjunct therapies and techniques described in this book and programs. He pursued the path of self-realization and introspection through advanced yogic practices to discover the source of happiness and peace, which is at the core of our being. Dr. Ramos is a compassionate individual who lives to serve others no matter what their background or their difficulties. He is an assiduous student with vast breadth of knowledge not only in his area of specialty, but also including, amongst other disciplines, medicine, nutrition, health, Ayurveda, Spiritism, mediumship, psychic healing, meditation, and consciousness research. Dr. Ramos lives with his wife and children in Miami Lakes, Florida.
