She survived abuse and domestic violence which propelled her into low-self esteem and depression. She explains in her writing how she learned to love herself and to love again referring to her husband, her knight in shining armor. She tells stories and poetry to encourage the reader to keep fighting to overcome using not only her life, but an example from others. Blair Mitchell has worked in healthcare for over 21 years and has been in ministry for ten plus years.
