Barbara Hill was born in Los Angeles, California but spent most of her life near her family’s roots in and around New York City, where she cultivated her deep passion for the arts. She grew up in the idyllic town of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, where she first discovered her commitment to helping others—volunteering in hospitals and raising funds for causes to honor the memories of her loved ones. Having faced the complexities of mourning—seemingly too often—Barbara gained a new perspective on grief and the grieving process. She now shares her experiences through her writing, offering compassion and insight to those navigating loss.
