Founder and CEO, Crafter, Co., Ltd (formerly ChatBook) Chairman of Women AI Initiative Japan Council Member of Generative AI Utilization and Promotion Association (GUGA) Forbes JAPAN Women in Tech 30 Visiting Professor, iU Professional University of Information Management and Innovation CEO and Founder of Crafter. Crafter was acquired by Monex in July 2022, one of the public online securities companies in Japan. Maiko oversees the product vision, design, development, sales, financing and marketing strategy. Crafter secured funding from Salesforce LLC, East Ventures, Monex Ventures, Z Ventures - ex-Yahoo Japan Ventures-, Voyage Ventures. More than 300 companies including fortune 100 companies used marketing automation platform “CraftChat”(previously named ChatBook). Maiko was accepted to the “APT Women” 4th cohort sponsored by the Tokyo Government. Additionally, she was accepted to present at the NIKKEI AI Summit to talk about the forefront of AI based technology. Maiko is a self-taught engineer capable of python, objective-c. Prior to Crafter, Maiko was co-founder and CTO at Primeagain Inc, and successfully built thirty mobile and web-based applications from ideation to product release which one of the apps scaled to 5 million users. Maiko graduated from Waseda University with a B.S. in International Politics and Economics.
