Anna Thomasson is a cultural historian and author. She read English at Bristol and then studied for an M Phil in Biography at the University of Buckingham. Her thesis was shortlisted for the Biographers' Club Prize and formed the backbone of her first book, 'A Curious Friendship', which tells the story of the friendship between the artist Rex Whistler and the writer Edith Olivier. She lives and works in London.
