ANDREW N. GARMAN is a US-based scholar and educator. His work investigates how people can best engage their professional roles and health system employers as agents of environmental and social change to improve long-term community well-being. He previously served as CEO of the non-profit National Center for Healthcare Leadership, and currently serves as a professor at Rush in Chicago, IL. He has contributed to over one hundred research articles, book chapters, major reports and books on a breadth of leadership development and foresight topics. He received his BS in psychology / mathematics emphasis from Penn State, his MS in Personnel and Human Resource Development from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and his PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the College of William & Mary / Virginia Consortium.
