Amélie Laurent-Dubois lives with her partner Leon in Cologne, Germany. Her own fertility journey was so formative that she began jotting down all the crazy, painful, and sometimes even funny moments in a diary—at first only for herself, as a way to process the chaos of that time. Over time, the desire grew to share her experiences openly: to encourage other women and to show them that they are not alone with their feelings, hopes, and setbacks. Amélie knows from firsthand experience how tough the fertility journey can be—especially when things don’t work out right away. Beyond writing, Amélie enjoys yoga, horseback riding, and long conversations with her friends. In Cologne, you’ll often find her in small cafés, cycling along the Rhine, or exploring one of the city’s vibrant street food markets. She firmly believes that stories can build bridges—and that humor and honesty can carry us through even the hardest times.
