Amber Clement has always loved telling stories, whether through drawing comics, writing fanfiction, or turning her middle school vocab assignments into full blown narratives. She first pursued publication in the summer of 2013 after taking a fiction writing class her freshman year of college. She studied Graphic Design at Indiana University, all while trying to figure out how to write a novel.
Amber writes Young Adult and Middle Grade fantasies full of glitter, determined girls, and captivating villains. As a Mexican-American, it's important to her that the stories she writes are full of the representation she wanted more of as a young reader.
When she's not writing, Amber hosts gaming clubs for teens. She is a big Nintendo nerd who mains Princess Peach in Smash Bros. Amber resides in Northwest Indiana, but may be spotted in the city searching for new inspiration.
