Alan Jones was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1968 to 3rd generation immigrants from Wales, Ireland, Germany and Australia. He studied graphic design at the University of the Witwatesrand, and went on to start a design business, Access IPD, in 1999. Shortly after that Alan joined the pastoral staff at Cornerstone Church in Johannesburg where he served for 8 years as pastor and bible teacher. In 2009 Alan relocated to Tacoma, WA with his wife Meg, and their son Daniel. Alan runs Access IPD and serves as founding pastor at Firebrand Church.
