Author, poet, actor, all-round creative genius, I love telling stories inspired by the Bible, while drawing deeply on Shakespeare and mythology. I have memorized thousands of lines of poetry and can come up with an instant quote for every occasion, even as a party trick.
My books include short fiction, non-fiction, memoir, poetry collections, and epic poetry (fiction told in poem form). In ELIJAH, I recount the great prophet's ministry and miracles in 12 chapters of verse, adhering to the Bible narrative while drawing inspiration from John Milton's 'Paradise Lost'.
In the past few years, my focus has switched more to non-fiction to address the global tyranny shit-show now in play, especially with my four-book BATTLE MANUALS FOR FREEDOM COLLECTION.
My past careers include several years as a journalist with Reuters news agency. I used to be proud of that because, at the time, Reuters had a soul. Not any more! I also toiled in Chinese media in Beijing, episodes I describe in my DUELING THE DRAGON books and collection.
As an actor, I've played most of the major Shakespearean roles, and on stages from New York to London to Beijing. In addition to the journalism and broadcasting, my previous careers include financial analysis, yoga teaching, and teaching Argentine Tango. I also love competitive swimming.
