Wild is indeed a wild and raunchy romance of the shifter/wolf genre but with some character and plot depth.

If I wasn't so invested in the lives of these wolves and their mates, I wouldn't bother with this series.

The narrator is very monotone, especially when doing the male voices, and sometimes reads without punctuation, like full stops, and one sentence just rolls into the next.

The 2nd Wolf Ranch book Wild is about Marina and Colton they are both heading to Wolf Ranch for a wedding only the road is washed out by a sudden flood. Marina knows who Colton is and he only knows she’s his mate and from there things take off with some laugh out loud humour, lots of scorching hot sexual interactions and some wolf shifters in the mix. It is a slightly predictable outcome but the scorching hot sex more than makes up for that lol. Now I’m off to book 3, thank goodness for shifters and scorching hot sex, sigh, if only!

The storyline for the first half od the book was surprisingly good. The sex scenes are quite steamy and enhanced by the opportunities for consent.
Unfortunate the lifeless, monotone of the narrator was so offputting that I didn't get further than halfway.
