Joe Arden absolutely destroyed me through this book the emotions he displayed was soo heartbreaking I don't think I can recover..... Bute here's my review of the whole book


This book wrecked me, but not in a good way. I will not be forgetting this book anytime soon. There is no warning to prepare you for the emotional roller coaster this book will take you on; I ugly cried through the whole thing. I'm considering reading some happy book after this—maybe Spot? 🤣 I don't think I want to read a book like this again, but let's be real, I will. This was a 5 ⭐️ read for me. Would I read it again? NEVER. Having my heart ripped from my chest and stomped on once was enough for me. If you can’t handle books without a happy ending DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!
This book drew me in, chewed me up and then spat me back out. I just finished in tears.
Don’t get me wrong this book is about a beautiful love story that does not end with a happy ending. The performance was spot on and Joe Arden was amazing. This book is dark and the triggers list is crazy long. This is not for the faint of heart.

This book captured me and my heart from the moment it started and had me in a choke hold till the end. I knew there wouldn't be a happily ever after, but was shaken to the core with how tragically things ended. The narration is nothing short of a master piece. I highly recommend listening to this book, but make sure u have the tissues ready!
