This book was even more disappointing than the first one. The narration is ok, although the sound quality isn’t great (very echoey and the narrator isn’t always smooth with his narration- lots of audible swallowing and oddly placed pauses and breaths)
The story left me wanting. There was a LOT of superfluous and useless information (kind of like someone describing their day, including all the boring and mundane parts) It started off ok, but deteriorated rapidly. The plot just fizzled out, with no real development or excitement. There was several opportunities for it to become exciting and captivating, but they just fizzled out with no real enhancement to the story.
I would describe this book as boring, lacking direction and completely uncaptivating. And several grammatical errors (or weird errors by the narrator… not sure which and I don’t care enough to read the written book to find out) had me “loud moanly” (as heard in chapter 11!)
