Was ok not great but ok. the Narrator takes some getting used to. There's a fine line between manipulation and control. It seems to be what happens when an insecure and controlling man find someone he can dictate to. Dominance is not about manipulation and blackmail. I ended up finishing the series and In regretting it.

I read the whole series and I have to say that I'm on central Jesse Cloudnine! He is so incredibly frustrating and possessive, and while I'd usually find this a massive turnoff , Jodi writes and positions it such a way you can't help but love this about him.
The story has a lot of ups and downs, but overall its a great with lots of laughs, a few tears, and some sexy times.

Edita is fantastic narrator. Overall, its worth the listen.

This was a great emotional roller coaster. This is my ... I don’t know how many times reading. It never gets old or stale. It has your heart beating wildly. Another re read. Must be at least 5. Narration was awesome too.

I found Jesse so hot, mysterious and big Alpha male. I enjoyed my very first book. After i read this book i Cant wait to read the next one.

The storyline is so one dimensional it is hard to keep going. A lot of great sex which might be enough for some but I prefer a solid plot with a bit of passion woven into it. Struggling to convince myself to keep going halfway into it.

Flimsy story but lots of sex if that’s your thing

I’ve struggled with this book from the start. It’s very one dimensional, a lot of sex scenes and no proper storyline to it. I personally found the main characters quite irritating. Jessie is your typical narcissist who constantly tries to control Ava in every aspect of her life, and Ava come across as the typical submissive who doesn’t like being controlled but has no backbone to stand up to him.

I managed get myself three quarters of the way through the audiobook and have decided not to continue with this series.

Not my thing, characters are irritating. Seems unrealistic, I think most woman would be getting a restraining order on the male lead in real life haha!

If you like Mr Grey then the “hero” Jessie is likely set to be a favourite of yours. The story line is so much like Fifty Shades of Grey, even down to the book one breakup cliffhanger - it reeks of a knock off! #lawsuitpending
Narrator is pretty good and the only redeeming factor of this book.
