About this listen

Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother's art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it's in the red.

Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.

The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting - but surely her mother didn't mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red....

Contains mature themes.

I have no words to describe this book. I was absolutely fantastic. definitely the best erotic book I have listened to. I was constantly mesmoried and turned through out the book. I only wished it was longer 😍😊😈

Amazing!!

This is pure smut. Dirty, vulgar, degenerate filth. I loved it. Erotica at it's finest.

Not only was it full of carnal fantasies, it actually had a great story. It centres around the art world and art gallery owner, Mona. She fully owned and explored her sexual desires and Malcolm, her seductive rake, goes to any length to please her. There's a supernatural twist that is intriguing and brings the story full circle.

Be warned, this story leaves no stone uncovered and no hole untouched. Morals and inhibitions are out the window and debauchery is the order of the day. But I really enjoyed all of the characters (the good, the bad, and the devilishly corrupted) and their fantasy world was hard to put down.

One small distraction was the narrators "male' voice. It just wasn't deep enough and not sexy or appealing at all.

not for the feint hearted

Talk about a Faustian deal.
I couldn't pause this.
It was inventive. Heady. Engrossing. And unexpected.

This was in my library for quite a while. Glad I finally listened to it. Spicy.

Erotic and different (in a good way)

Sexy, if a little out there at times. Little spice, little kink, loads of mind funkery.

The narrator did a good job too.

Hot with a twist

I don't understand the good reviews, this book is so poorly written with constant repetition. Definitely steamy and graphic, yet completely ridiculous and hilarious dialogue. The book starts with explaining a main character has a strong British accent, and then he proceeds to be American for the whole book...Also, there are elements of bdsm but mostly just non consensual stuff happening that is being referred to as bdsm. Not sure why it is so hard to portray consensual bdsm scenes?

Not sure why I finished this

I kept asking why I was persevering with this & still dont know even as it ended. Parts were quite disturbing & Im pretty open minded. Would I recommend ? No
