I adore Grace and Sean's story and love that we don't start with Ian - despite him being one of the bosses of McKay-Taggart and the owner of BDSM club Sanctum - but that we get to know him through his brother. Sean is a man who never thought he'd settle down until Grace becomes involved in a case about her boss... and Grace is widowed mother to two college boys and never thought she'd get a chance to find love again. This book has all the heat, all the romantic suspense, all the laughs and lots of feels... and starts off an overarching plot that you'll want to see through to the very end!!
I will say that it really feels like this is Ryan West's first book in this series as he doesn't quite have the character voices quite right. I could definitely listen to this one ok and found the story just as enjoyable, but the voices aren't quite there ...
It was the best of both worlds...
