The narration didn't quite hit for me. The narrator sounds too old for the main role. The concept has been done better, it just felt a bit like it was trying too hard.

Didn’t like the narrative’s voice didn’t hear any real emotion or warmth telling the story. The story itself was ok, but felt a bit to try hard. I do like this book better than the first book. Love the covers of the book in this series.

I may have purchased this book with higher expectations than were warranted. I don’t mind a funny rom com, but this book was boring! Plenty of mediocre sex scenes, no plot. Weak. Wouldn’t recommend.

My husband who has listened to the story second hand as I’ve done dishes or cooked dinner or scooped kitty litter agrees the steamy scenes as spicy spicy 🌶️ 🥵 so be prepared. However I loved Hazel and Noah’s romance, it was so super sweet and natural as though it was meant to be, definitely worth the oohs and ahhs and sighs…
The narrator did a great job and I enjoyed listening to her.
