About this listen

I’ve been good long enough.

As the eldest son of Austin’s most prominent preacher, I’ve lived my life on the virtuous side. No scandals. Flawless image. Clean reputation.

That’s the way it must be if I’m going to take his place someday.

But everything changes when I find out my father is a VIP member of a local kink club.

A liar. A cheater. A hypocrite.

Now, I’m done being righteous.

And when the club owner’s jaded girlfriend comes to me with a proposal, I can’t resist.

Sage is nothing like the women I’ve dated before. Pink hair, tattoos, piercings. I know it’ll burn my father’s reputation to the ground when she and I are seen together.

But our fake dating scheme isn’t enough. We need videos—dirty videos.

The more we film these scenes, the more I like it.

She wants me to degrade her, hurt her, violate her.

And God help me, I want it too.

But it’s hardly fake anymore, and before long, I don’t recognize the Goode man I used to be.

I struggled a little with the story, I think it rambled a little. The narrators are excellent. The push and pull was a little too much and I wish Adam's character took the bull by horns a little earlier.

The story was more than the description alludes to.
Adam had serious religious & daddy issues of worthiness and expectation to work through. Sage allowed him to be free. The spice was spicy, side characters interesting and I’ll continue the series.

Not just spice

Narrators did a great job at bring the characters to life, and as always great just to listen too. I could see Sages piercings and pink hair, the apartment, Sara Cate has done a great job setting the scene. Hot steamy, and dirty in all the right bits. The story was a great journey over 4 months as the characters intwined their lives and sets up what I hope, will be a great series of the Good Boys 😉

Binge worthy

I love, love, LOVED this book! While spotlighting the hypocrisy that is rife in some religious organisations, Sara manages to reaffirm that there’s no shame in wanting what you want. As others have said, Jacob Morgan did an amazing job narrating, seamlessly shifting from his 12yo younger self to slurring as a drunk, and everything in between as a complicated 37yo with daddy issues. Vivienne LaRue also did an incredible job and the duet narration was (insert chefs kiss). The spice was indeed spicing all over the place, right up until the epilogue. I literally laughed out loud and wanted to high five Sage for the grace she said during family dinner 😂 hands down, my favourite part of the whole book!! Will definitely listen again and probably buy in paperback too. So, stop umming and ahhing and just use that credit on this book. You can thank me later 😉

Story was ok. Adam has major daddy issues but glad he sorted it out.

I love both of the narrators, so sensual!
