But that dark side that lives inside all of us, the true nature of man, drives us to seek the need that burns within, demanding to be set free. Deep inside of our bones lies that intrinsic need, one desperate to escape. An innate behavior, seemingly out of our control.
One that screams for sins they tell us are condemning.
Aero is the throat from which I scream.
The dark parts of myself I want hidden from this world are all he sees when he gazes at me beneath yet another mask.
He’s the demon drowning me in my own underlying desires.
He may never stop. Not until I succumb to my truths, or die beneath the weight of his unrelenting grasp.
Because according to him, the life I’ve been living is a hell far worse than death.

beautifully written with a captivating story and such believable, well acted narration. Certainly not one for the pious.

Amazing narrator performances
I did enjoy the story, my heart broke for Aero while i fell in love with him. Briony and Aero’s character development was amazing. It didnt consume like i thought it would tbh.
Both narrators did amazing job!!! I love Joe Arden whispering filth in my ear.

A masterpiece of destruction and Malevolence
Words don't convey how truly outstanding this is- I was enthralled for wo to go and finished this in under 24hrs. Not for the faint of heart or anyone who's not familiar with any of the terminology used in the trigger warnings.

Epic Narration

Dark as F
This book is dark as and it has a huge list of trigger warnings you need to read before going ahead. If you like dark as f romance this is a book for you. Joe Arden does an amazing job duel narrating this book. Definitely worth a read/listen.

Wow
Amazing. Incredible. Just wow. The narration is absolutely top tier! I’m a huge Joe Arden fan and he absolutely blew this out of the water. The emotion 😮💨
The story itself was a bit different to what I was expecting (very heavy in religion) but I really enjoyed it. It was beautifully written. Definitely check your trigger warnings if you have some (I don’t 😅) but was terrific, I’d listen again
