This is not the type of book I was expecting from N. R. Walker, I can't recall any of her other writing to be like this.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just unexpected and incredibly good.
It has all the feeling of the Illuminati crossed with Stepford Wives at the start and the other worldly remains through the story, but it explores is softer side of BDSM and the deep relationships that can form.
It also does a good job of explaining good vs bad Dom/sub dynamics,
Nick Russo did an excellent job in his narration and the audio quality was excellent.

This was a great, feel good book. The characters were fantastic and the narration is suburb.

I’ve always loved the ebook but listening to this audio has confirmed it as one of my favourites. Nick Russo’s narration is outstanding as he enhanced all of the emotions the story brought out in me.

Living in a secret BDSM village (well the BDSM is the secret bit- people know of the village). Hunter gets brought into Sig and Levin’s lives as an abused sub. We see the impact he has on their relationship and watch as they make room for him- from the start, in their life and love. They show him trust and teach him love.
NR Walker is my fav Australian author and she’s really hit this one out of the park. Not her usual genre but she did really well with the BDSM and there was still enough story hardships and fluffiness to be a really good NR Walker novel.
I enjoyed the Narration but every now and then I wasn’t sure who was saying what.
So glad I bought this one.
