About this listen
Samson, a vampire with an eternity of experience, is facing his most humiliating challenge yet: he can’t get it up. His psychiatrist is stumped. But when the stunning mortal auditor Delilah literally lands in his lap after a frightening assault, Samson’s primal urges awaken with a vengeance. His desire is back, but only for her.
His therapist’s outrageous suggestion—one night with Delilah could be the cure—shatters his last shred of resistance. Samson gives in, expecting a single, scorching night to restore his potency.
However, their intimate encounter is violently interrupted by another attack on Delilah, leaving a trail of blood and unanswered questions in its wake. Now, Samson must not only hide his true, immortal nature but also unravel the secrets that have turned Delilah into the target of a ruthless killer. What began as a desperate cure for his impotence turns into a pulse-pounding descent into desire, danger, and a fight for survival.

Didn’t like narrators interpretation of Delilah.
AUDIBLE REVIEW
Thoroughly enjoyed the story in audible but just AUDIBLE REVIEW
Thoroughly enjoyed the story in audible but just didn’t like the narrators interpretation of Delilah.
She sounds too wishy washy and my perception of her when reading the book, was of a strong capable woman. And some of the other characters sounded similar to each other.
A bit annoying to have to pay full price for the audible version having purchased the book.
BOOK REVIEW
What a great read and the start of what looks like a fantastic series. Samson and Delilah, that makes me grin just to start off.
They met in the weirdest way and I loved the stripper mix up.
Samson runs a vampire bodyguard slash security business. he is having a problem that is driving him insane, until he meets Delilah and mistakes her for a stripper.
Delilah is a top notch accountant sent to find out about embezzlement that is happening in Samson’s business.
A lot happens in this book and you have to keep reading to find out what is going to happen next.
Loved the story and thought it was hilarious when they went to see the vampire shrink and Delilah tore a strip of him.
We meet a hell of a lot of interesting characters and I cannot wait to read all their stories.
Have owned the older version books for ages, have read and reviewed them previously but reviews posted from the back of a book do not seem to stay. Never a hardship to reread.
