I have to admit I wanted to listen to this because Jason Clarke was narrating one of the characters, but I also almost gave up because of his narration. I found him so slow and laborious. I had to speed up the narration so I wouldn't lose interest. Not sure what has happened to his narrating skills, I listened to another book from 2015 and it was night and day.

Thankfully Tim Paige did an amazing job, as he always does. Love listening to him.

I think the reason I persevered was because I had the book as well and I did some skimming and realised I wanted to hear the story. It was so nice and I really enjoyed it in the end. This a new story for me, but I was there all the way with Cooper and Declan. Definitely worth the credit in the end.
