About this listen

Riley needs a Daddy who believes in him.

My life is a mess. I've become the loser my father expected me to be, and now I'm stuck on his ranch. The only good thing in this scenario is the foreman, Blake. I never thought a hot, older man like him would notice me, yet he sees the hidden part of me that longs for someone to care.

I wasn't sure I wanted a Daddy, but I love the way Blake takes care of me, challenges me, pushes me to be my best self. I want to make him proud. I want to keep him, even though we seem to belong in different worlds.

For far too long, I've let life come at me, believing myself powerless to fight for what I want. Maybe now I can use the strength Blake believes I have to give us a future together.

Contains mature themes.

ok I thought this might have some substance since the daddy/boy dynamic should have provided some depth, but its fluff and not really all that spicy when you take the psychology out of it
nice light listen but nothing more

sad miss

I was a little bummed that the psychological aspects of their Daddy/Son play wasn't explored more. The reasonings for it were made obvious (at least on Rileys side) but I still felt like it was treated a little too superficially for my liking.
Also - so over these kind of epilogues. They have become cliche and add no real character or plot development. 🙄
That all said, it was hot and sweet and Chris Chambers could read the dictionary and sound sexy.

Light and fluffy ... yummy but no real substance.

Story: 📚📚📚
Writing: 📝📝📝
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙

I'll preface this by saying I don't think that this particular kink does it for me, no judgement though. Things I liked- the narration was on point, each character was clearly defined.
The story didn't feel believable. It felt quite rushed. It wasn't a struggle to get through, but I didn't enjoy it.

Only if you really like Daddy kink

Riley is a rebellious guy and his father doesn’t trust him to run his ranch, their relationship soured after the death of Riley’s mom. Riley is waiting for his trust fund to kick in but it’s still about 10 years away and he’s burnt every bridge he’s crossed; he makes the prodigal son look good. Blake is the gay ranch foreman and he knows all Riley needs is some firm discipline and guidance so he offers to train Riley. Riley’s father agrees but he doesn’t know that Blake is using a Daddy / Son dynamic of spanking, sex, and praise to motivate Riley. Riley blossoms under Blake’s care and correction but he still gets nervous every time his father questions him about what he’s learned. Can Riley win his father’s respect and what does his future hold?

This S&M / age-gap romance had a ridiculous premise but the execution was very sweet, I liked the hot and tender relationship that Blake established with Riley—they had great chemistry together and many of the scenes were heartwarming. It’s a very straightforward and easy read, Silvia Violet makes Riley’s father a cardboard cutout villain who is easy to hate while everyone else on the ranch respects Blake and provides support to Riley. 🎧 Chris Chambers’ honeyed southern voice was P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N, he elevated a 2.5-star story to a 4-star audio—I could listen to him all day!

Hot foreman keeps rancher’s son in line!
