After the tour de force that was Push, this low-angst sequel felt like a series of epilogues. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed catching up with the Lockwoods again. It’s just that there wasn’t a strong narrative through the book; it’s all about our thruple settling into their new life together. I loved the bigger focus on Jessica in this book—getting more of her perspective was just great! There were some fun, a little drama, and plenty of hot moments and this is definitely a stepping stone to prepare us for the next book, Trouble, which features Tate. Can’t wait! 🎧 Voice actors Zachary Zaba (as Ben), Liam DiCosimo (as Ryan), and Rose Dioro (as Jessica) were all brilliant on the audio.
