What is wrong meets what feels right in this romance set in Italy by the Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling author of Deep End.

Maya Killgore is twenty-three and still in the process of figuring out her life.

Conor Harkness is thirty-eight, and Maya cannot stop thinking about him.

It's such a cliché, it almost makes her heart implode: older man and younger woman; successful biotech guy and struggling grad student; brother's best friend and the girl he never even knew existed. As Conor loves to remind her, the power dynamic is too imbalanced. Any relationship between them would be problematic in too many ways to count, and Maya should just get over him. After all, he has made it clear that he wants her gone from his life.

But not everything is as it seems - and clichés sometimes become plot twists.

When Maya's brother decides to get married in Taormina, she and Conor end up stuck together in a romantic Sicilian villa for over a week. There, on the beautiful Ionian coast, between ancient ruins, delicious foods, and natural caves, Maya realizes that Conor might be hiding something from her. And as the destination wedding begins to erupt out of control, she decides that a summer fling might be just what she needs - even if it's a problematic one.

It's officially Problematic Summer - and readers can't get enough:

I must be Ali Obsessed because I’m yet to feel disappointed by one of her novels and this was no exception…. I really loved the love story and the way it was read. Perfect!

Could this be the best one yet?

I absolutely loved this book. Ali really has done it again! It was a lovely holiday read!! The story is so good, and the setting is also so nice! Ahh also oh my goodness the narrators!! Wow 🤩 I love both of their voices I wish for both of their voices to be in more romance novels / Romantasy novels (please let them read more books to us - their voices are so good). They both nailed it and it was a truely enjoyable listen!!

Wonderful narration, loved that the characters had some good depth to them, along with the banter and witty good times.
just a note I have to say, in real life, i strongly advise, to never beg for love. I did for 16 years and blah blah blah, wouldn't recommend. this audiobook though? Highly recommend 👌

Another fantastic rom-com!

I enjoyed the story but it definitely wasn’t Ali Hazelwood’s best. The characters seemed a bit forced and dare I say it - nonsensical, at times.
The female narrator was fine, but the male narrator was almost laughably bad. Why did every male sound like a terrifying robotic Russian spy?!

Cute story, but not her best.

Both narrators are average and the female narrator injects way too much of her personality into the story. She makes her sound young and childish.

Narrators are mid
