Lincoln and Brody are hands down my fave couple. I loved this book. I even got teary at one stage. Such a great story, great characters and the spice was spot on. You couldn't help but love and feel for both characters. Brody i feel in love with his character straight away and he was a ray of sunshine even though he was struggling with do much. Lincoln grew on me and i loved their connection.

Lincoln Beckett has worked hard to get where he is: popular, good at his studies, and co-captain of Hunston Uni’s wrestling team. He can never please his rich, overbearing father who remembers that one time Lincoln showed ‘weakness’ during a wrestling match a couple of years ago. But now Brody Miller, the wrestler that Lincoln felt physically attracted to, has transferred schools and Lincoln lives in fear Brody will out him. Brody has worked even harder to get where he is. Addiction has caused major problems for his family and Brody lives with the shame. But Brody is an amazing wrestler, he’s won a hard-earned scholarship, and he just wants to succeed. Unfortunately, Lincoln and other teammates are gunning for him. The only thing in Brady’s favour is that Lincoln just can’t seem to take his eyes off him.

Phew, this was such an epic and steamy enemies-to-lovers / college-sports romance! Brody was an amazingly patient, hardworking guy with a big heart and it was tough watching him have to suck it up and laugh off every malicious prank or denigration. Lincoln showed a lot of weakness of character for most of the book so it was extremely satisfying to watch Brody exact the kind of kinky long-term revenge that had Lincoln squirming and ultimately changing for the better—this was Lincoln’s remorse / redemption story as much as it was about Brody overcoming a mountain of adversity. As always with a good sports romance, I enjoyed the action at the wrestling meets and the training sessions. Although it’s the ninth book, it’s my welcome introduction to the author and the series. I’m guessing they are all standalones because I could follow everything easily and I’ll definitely seek out the other books. 🎧 Voice actor Jake Bordeaux gave a fantastic performance, he really channeled the drama, the steam, and the action superbly!

a fantastic end to the Forbidden goals series!! i loved Beck and Brody so muchhh! but won’t lie, i thought the feminisation and degradation would go a lot further but it was great as it was!
