What a finale to a fantastic series.

The characters are likeable- even with their flaws.
The nods to the authors name with the reference to 'stabby' in each of the books was brilliant.
Well paced throughout, enough romance without taking away from the thriller genre. Satisfying conclusion!

My favourite detail throughout is the quotes used at the start of each chapter. It just adds more depth to each of the chapters.

I finished all 5 books in quick succession, I couldn't stop listening. The storyline is addictive, the main characters, though morally grey, have you questioning your own beliefs and convictions. The content is not for the faint hearted, but this is offset by the heart warming romance. I enjoyed these books and the narration, but as I said when reviewing book 1, my only criticism is paying the same price for a 3+ hour book as a run of the mill 6+ hour book. It's the most expensive series I've bought, just as well I loved every minute, otherwise I'd feel ripped off. Now the hunt begins for more like this. Highly recommended.

I cried for all the Lana out there, i have never read a book like this and i reckon it's brilliant. C.M. Owens aka S.T. Abby was amazing and brilliant, so sad that we lost her and not be able to write ever again, i am so thankful she wrote this series. It's hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking all at once.
