This was an interesting ending. Though I felt it didn’t tie up a few strings left dangling. Had a plot I never saw coming. A great read.
Narration was awesome too.

It was great to be able to listen to the whole series in one go, second time around. One could see how Eva had matured and gained her confidence in ways I never thought possible. Gideon's transformation was so noticeable from being a control freak to a loving husband who always put Eva first. It took 5 books for them to get their HEA!

This series has so much drama and angst, as well as scorching chemistry and is one of my favourite series.

I love this whole series! I read it last year and couldn't stop, then listened to the whole series. I loved the addition of Jeremy Yorks voice as Gideon! great accents, and different recognisable voices of other characters. A lovely low even tone, measured and subtle.

I'm sad I've finished all five and will be looking for others by Sylvia Day and narrations by Jeremy York.

I wish this series would keep going after the 5th book, and also be made into a movie. I loved it, and was so sad when it ended and I wasn’t ready to stop hearing about the lives of Ava and Gideon.

I have read this book 10 times. Clearly a favourite. This is the first time listening to it.
I understood better Gideon's perspective, and his better understanding of himself and his relationship to others about him. Ultimately he just wants to be loved for who he is, and it has nothing to do with his wealth or status. he is a tortured sole, and with Ava's help and characters along the way he becomes a better and happier man.
Ava gets Gideon to understand she has to have a say in all she does, her life can't be planned out for her. She needs control. No amount of money, power or status sways her in this principal.

I can’t tell you how many times I have listened to this series. It gets me every time. The story is my all time favourite love story. We all have a dark side. It can break us and it can also be the thing that binds us. Oh and The intimacy is off the charts 🔥🔥🥰😉
