With her divorce pending, art dealer Saskia is looking forward to spending Christmas in her remote country cottage with her oldest friend.

Cut off from the world and free from distractions, now is the perfect time for Saskia and Henry to pick up where they left off 17 years ago.

With food in the oven, the fire lit, and twinkling lights on the tree, everything is perfect. Until headlights appear on the driveway, and the last person they expect to see steps out of his car. Saskia's soon-to-be ex-husband, Casper.

This brooding artist claims he only wanted to say goodbye to the cottage, and thought it would be empty. But Casper has one more gift for the woman who is still his wife on paper, and he's going to need Henry's help to deliver it.

One More Gift is a spicy MMF snowed-in holiday novella with low-angst and high-heat. I promise you'll never look at paper chains the same way again.

Loved the duet-style narration where every character had a different voice. Audiobook newcomer Ryan Mairs as Casper is probably one of the best casting decisions ever. He really embodies the character's cocky and arrogant attitude, and you can practically hear the smirk in his voice. Seasoned audiobook pro John York is also fantastic and brilliantly cast as Henry. The moments when York's voice switches from polite sweetheart to strict Dom (while still embodying the character) are really well acted.

Part of me would love a down-to-earth drama version of this story that's twice as long and focussed on the relationship dynamics, but for what it is, it's a fun story that's filthy as hell, and will be enjoyed by anyone looking for something short and smutty with great voices.

Filthy and fun
