Well written, well researched series of period romance, mystery and intrigue. Well written moments of sex that blends nicely into storyline. Really enjoyed listening and Justine Eyre does the books justice with her narration.

Bravo. This highlander story was a pleasant departure from usual themes. The use of Gaelic dialogue throughout cleverly establishes the setting and keeps the reader there. I loved Rowena's persona and the overall mix of personalities.. brave, graceful, strong, protective, wise, vulnerable, annoying, loyal, deceptive, heartless, power-hungry, endearing. Justine's narration and characterisations were brilliant as usual and enriched my listening pleasure. An easy listen worth giving a go.
