About this listen

“You hide it so well from everyone else. Your friends, the guys on the team. But you can’t hide it from me. I can see how much you need to be dominated. I own you, and I can do whatever I want with you, and you’ll love every second of it. Isn’t that right?”

Meet Malcolm Blackwood—tall, dark, brooding, and undeniably hot. The problem? He hates my guts.

I’m North Nolan, the star player on our football team and the golden boy of Langly College. I'm straight and can have any woman I want.

Or so I thought.

It all began with late-night accidental voyeurism, a video phone, and a pair of handcuffs. Now, I'm entangled in Malcolm Blackwood’s web—my enigmatic, brooding teammate. He introduces me to a world of dark pleasures, awakening a side of me I never knew existed. All he demands in return is complete possession of my body.

But Malcolm is more than just the wealthy, cold bully he appears to be. Once I get a taste of what lies beneath his cool facade, I can’t let go.

Malcolm may want my body, but I want his heart.

Who will break first?

**Warning- Contains very little football, and a lot of spice** My Dark Jock is a high heat romance omnibus containing the complete series of shorts. It is intended for mature audiences only.

Langly College’s North Nolan is the popular golden boy of the campus and football team. He’s straight but catches fellow teammate—broody, glowering loner—Malcolm Blackwood in a compromising position and the two start a passionately stormy affair. While Malcolm seeks control and dominance, North can see that he is hurting and ignores the rebuffs and angry outbursts he receives from Malcolm. As North and Malcolm slowly form a bond of trust, North begins to see the cause of Malcolm’s antisocial outbursts, but can Malcolm learn to shed a lifetime of hurt and pain?

This sports-romance boxset comprises six short stories that form a cohesive novel. While North is charismatic and uncomplicated, he has strong emotional intelligence that allows him to understand and sympathise with Malcolm’s tormoil. The series has a high heat level with BDSM themes but it is a lot more than just a few sex scenes strung together. There’s some real angst, a lot of push-and-pull from Malcolm, and some other characters with their own agendas determined to derail what North is quietly building with Malcolm. I enjoyed it a lot. 🎧 Craig Richards was new audio narrator to me but I’d love to hear more from him, he gave a fantastic performance over the entire series.

Super-steamy / fantastic college sports romance!

It took me what felt like an eternity to fully dive into *My Dark Jock*, and even longer to finally flip that last page. Everywhere I looked, it seemed to be hailed as a must-read, its tantalizing reputation for steamy content swirling around it like an irresistible allure. I can confirm, without a doubt, that it does deliver on that front—it's brimming with sultry encounters and heated moments. However, despite its promises of passion, I found my focus slipping away like sand through my fingers, and it took me a whole week to wade through its pages. That said, if you’re in the mood for something titillating and provocative, I do recommend giving it a shot.
