Enjoyable and giggled aloud a few times but the premise couldn’t sustain an interesting narrative for me beyond 3/4 mark. I loved the world the author created for the cast of characters and it sets up a hankering to get to know the peripheral personalities. It’s a light read, a naughty read! No regrets.

As far as monster romances go, this is mild enough for those just delving into it, yet fun enough for the darker readers to use as a palate cleanser!

Let's be honest: these sorts of stories are safe(ish) allegories for intercultural romance, complete with dreamy fantasy sex. Most are as ham-fisted as a drunk orc. But not this story. This short story is... sweet. No big dramas. No epic villians. A touch of dominance but gentle and respectful. Explicit but not gratuitous. Steamy and loving.
Plus one short discussion among two women that us a genuinely honest portrayal of intercultural relationships... I wish that thread was followed up in more detail.
This is NOT my type of story. It was free under my Amazon Plus subscription. But I can appreciate good writing and the happy, joyful feminine fantasy vibes.

This darn book kept coming up on Tiktok so I listened out of pure curiosity. I finished it out of sheer determination 😂
Performance wasn't terrible, but I have definitely listened to better.
Zero plot... I am all for spice, but need a story. This had ZERO story that was worth investing time into lol.
While I understand that perhaps this book is just not my cup of tea, I have read other monster romance books and didn't mind them at all. This book was just SO shallow. Never thought d*cks could be described so vividly.... If you're curious, then give it a listen. But there are other monster romance books out there that are far better and worth the credit.
