Payne deserved more

I read this when it first came out & I wanted to throw the book across the room with much disappointment. Re-reading many yrs later still feel disappointed, except without the urge of violent book throwing.

The moment Payne was introduced I was so excited by her character & much anticipated story. But I found this was such a let down. I wanted more for her + this had some many story threads going, didn’t feel like Manny & Payne were even the main focus & got enough page time.
