Loved that the characters were more ‘human’ than this author’s usuals. A very sweet story with a lot of personal growth. Leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Loved every moment an easy romance that ticks all the boxes. Narrators do a great job although the male needs to work on his female voice, but it made me laugh not stop listening, as in the end it wasn’t the voice but the story that wins out.

I think people knowing their worth is so important because we often shape ourselves into the ideal package just to be accepted by others. Not to mention how we find it hard to accept change and when we are stuck at a crossroads we often take the easy road instead of the harder one because we feel as if it’s safer when really, it isn’t.

I absolutely loved this story because they had to work on digging deep, accepting their faults and finding ways that they could be honest about what they want and how to stop self sabotaging their lives. This is life, in many ways only not all of us have happy endings and that’s okay.I would advise anyone with doubts or struggles with the above to read this because even I took something away from it and not many books can do that.

There were some moments that I rolled my eyes and found things a little cringy but the overall story I loved and the narrators did a great job.

Please release a G version of this book so that I can share this wisdom with young ones....wish I had read this book 30 years ago...wouldn't have wasted time with a dropkick

This was my first book from this author, and I've heard that this was a bit different but I didn't empathise with the characters at all, especially the protagonist- I found her neurotic and annoying.

unfortunately, this book fell short of its potential. It was ruined by overly unnecessary descriptive sexual scenes when suggestion or intimation would have sufficed. There were some charming funny moments - I just wish there were more of those and less of the other.
