I felt like the story jumped a little - obviously we go back and forth from past to present but the 'present' felt a little muddled. A lot of time spent focusing on insignificant events and rushed through defining moments. However really loved hearing the story from Hudsons point of view

It was good to hear Hudson's story ... Made my heart melt so well written .. Give more in series packages anytime ... Just as good as 50 shades of Grey!!!

Heart throbbing Fantastic

Book is pretty good, interesting to hear Hudson’s side of the story and gain his perspective. Seems to miss big sections- especially towards the last third- that from the first three books I’d have said were pivotal for the story.
But still enjoyable.
Unfortunately the narrator doesn’t do it any justice. Monotone, pretty ineffectual at putting any emotion or drama into the story. With a better narrator it would be a four star review

Disappointing narration

Was looking forward to reading this book as it was to be told from a male perspective. Unfortunately I find no male in the book - or only a little male. It is very female and therefore disappointing to me.
This assessment is more about me and voices but I have not enjoyed the tone nor emphasis of the reader. I consider this have influenced my overall view of this book.
