I have never been a big fan of reverse harem but just feel in love with this story. The performances were top tier

I had read Bren before starting this series, and I think that will be important for book 3 rather than book 1 or 2.

I really enjoyed this first book of the duet. I knew it ended on a cliffhanger, and the further I got I to the book, the more I was aware of where that cliffhanger was going to be. That didn't detract from the story, though, and it was great to get to know Thalia and Jace, the Cole, and then Lucas. The dynamics of the characters were interesting, and I found myself wanting to keep reading to know more. Heading straight over to book 2.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The many voice a tors did a great job and recorded in duet style made it fantastic.
