I love o read Jess Michaels but it's also great to listen as well. Love her story's love the characters

Book 2 of the series continues along the same steamy vein as book 1 but with a starkly different storyline. There's no shyness here. A seasoned mistress and rake succumb to their mutual burried attraction towards each other and the result is an affair with sexual fireworks. The narration is pure perfection. I loved this series and recommend enjoying them in order.

While I did enjoy the book overall, it wasn't as good as the first. The main character was irritatingly weak in her choices and I was rolling my eyes throughout the story because of them.
Similar to the first book I thought the words, "distroy" and "pleasure" were used too frequently.
I also couldn't help but question why pregnancy was never a concern for anyone- ever?
There needed to be more backstory for the father before he started his intrusions.
All that said, it was a good performance by the narrator and the sex scenes, (though too frequent) were well written.
